Do you want to get in to hill walking, or get back in to hill walking after a period of not doing it? This is the third walk in a series that sees you reach increasingly higher heights until we reach a Munro in the autumn. You can book on to these ‘Molehill to Mountain’ walk individually or all the walks for some motivation to get fit and more confident in the hills.
The pace is kind and slow enough to take in views and sights of wildlife and more along the way.
This walk is up Stac Pollaidh, a small hill with mountainous views and terrain. We will be walking 510 metres of ascent for this one. Mostly it is on path some of which is degraded and there are some steep sections. Next month we reach the Fiddler for a higher hill before October's walk up a Munro
Booking is required via Eventbrite or by contacting Jenny. Please book by Monday 19th August. Meeting place given out on booking.
This sessions price has been set to FREE. We ask for donations to help with our work, which goes towards education about and protection of the nature of the Highlands. Please give what you feel you can afford. We suggest a donation of £15 per person to cover our costs or £30 per person to further support our work.
