Join us for a 2 HR-CE credit class where we will cover the Mold Inspection and Remdiation Process with Alfred Ritacco, President of HIASF and Owner of Superior Mold Services.

Standards:

• Understaning industry standards and applicable regulations

Inspection and Assessment:

• Identifying common sources of moisture intrusiotn (the root cause of mold).
• Proper use of specialized equipment (e.g., moisture metersm thermal imaging).
• Developing effectiv sampling strategies (air and surface)
• interpreting laboratory results and developing a preliminary scope of work.

Remediation:

• Setting up containments and establishing negative air to prevent cross-contaimination
• Selecting the correct Personal Protective Equipment (PPE),
• Safe and effective cleaning and removal techniques for moldy materials
• Determining clearance standards and prepaing your containment for a post-remediation verification.
