High school for us, like many POC/queers, was an awful time so we wanted to create this event to re-imagine the high school experience. Whether you were an Emo, goth or geek or anything in between, this night is your chance to heal your inner teenager. With music exclusively from 90s-2010s we will take you back to those awful days and make the memory sweeter <333

About Mojxmma:

Mojxmma (Mo-Jam-ma) is a QTIPOC+ club night in Edinburgh & Glasgow, with a focus on dance, hip hop, RnB and world music.

We aim to create a safe space specifically for queer BiPOC and femme queers with lots of fun and good music!!

If you are not a person of colour please think about the space you are taking by attending this event and how your presence impacts those that the space is created for.

If you are white please buy a ticket during the last week of ticket sales to allow POC folk a chance to occupy the space. If you can afford to, please also buy a higher price ticket to support.

*In support of Medea’s (Lorelai) survival we will donate a percentage of ticket sale profits towards her survival fund and provide a donation bucket on the night*

TICKETS:

• £5 tickets are for those on no/low income and will help to cover basic event costs (if you are QTIPOC+ and would like a £3 ticket code please let us know)
• Tickets £10 and £15 will help generate profit which will be donated to Medea Solon’s fundraiser
• Tickets also sold on the door (depending on capacity)
