Module 10B/YL Module K - First Aid Practical Validation Sessions(Cambridge)

This module is a 45-60 minute practical session to validate the First Aid Theory covered under Module 10a.

We are running four of these sessions, depending on demand - please choose the time you would like to attend:

• 9.30am
• 10.45am
• 12.15pm
• 1.30pm

Who is this training for?

It is for anyone who wants to complete Module 10B, the practical component of module 10 - First Aid Training. This is the full module 10 / YL module K validation and consists of a face to face practical session.

You must already have completed Module 10a, the theory part of Module 10.

Booking

The ticket you book will show the starting time of your session - your session will last 45-60 minutes. You should plan to arrive 10 minutes before the start of your session.

Booking for adults

• You will need to have your Scouting(Compass) membership number to hand.
• Order confirmation and an event reminder will go to the e-mail you enter.

Booking for Young Leaders

• Under booking section headed "Contact Information" - Enter the parent/carers name and email address.
• Under Ticket 1: - Enter the name and details of the Young Leader attending the course.
• This process ensures relevant safeguarding measures are met as all of the emails will be addressed to the parent/carer and the presenters will know the name of the attendee

What happens once you have booked

• You will automatically receive an e-mail confirmation (containing all these details and precisely what you have booked).
• If you need to amend details or cancel the booking you can do so using the "view and manage your order online" link in your confirmation e-mail.
• An automatic e-mail will be sent as a reminder 48 hours before the course is due to start.

On the day

• The times stated are the times the course module will start, so please aim to arrive 15 minutes in advance so that you have time to register.
• You do not need to wear uniform or bring your confirmation e-mail / ticket with you.

After the course

Your record on Compass will be updated by the County Training Team to show that you have completed this course.
