About this Event
For this workshop, Eileen will bring a few different sizes of these modified pens for you to try out. She will teach you how to modify the nibs of these calligraphy pens to make them more comfortable for urban sketching. By creating an angle on the nib we can create many different line widths and be able to hold the pen at a lower angle.
A Pilot Parallel Pen is included with the class ticket price. Eileen suggests students pick up a few extra pens before the class begins. ARCH carries different nib sizes or more in the 6.0 (the largest size.)ARCH also have a wideselection of inks, sketchbooks, etc.

On Eileen P. Goldenberg's Fountain Pens for Expressive Urban Sketching:
"Eileen is the consummate fountain pen expert. She knows everything there is to know about the use of fountain pens in sketching, and the care and maintenance of fountain pens. The class was pragmatic, fun, and inspiring. Eileen’s enthusiasm for fountain pens is contagious, and I have a feeling there are going to be more fountain pens in my life as a result. This is a delightful interactive class with a lot of information that is very well organized. We got to try many different style pens from Eileen’s personal collection." Eve
