Practical approaches to legacy modernisation consistently get lost amid the noise generated by the latest hype cycle topic – but this is an important area of focus for many industry leaders at the coal face of transformation. This will be a pragmatic and experience-based discussion of what has, and crucially, has not worked, with a nod towards not building the next mainframe, in terms of cost and complexity.

We’ve brought together industry leaders to discuss the strategic and economic reality of un-anchoring a business from its legacy technology. The panel will explore how to stop the "legacy tax" from draining innovation budgets, the shift from manual, high-cost modernisation to platform-led speed, and the material importance of ensuring that today’s investments do not become the next high-priced, rigid monolith of the future.
