Join MidModSC for a guided walking tour of Columbia's Modernist gems. We will be focusing on buildings constructed by the State of South Carolina and the University of South Carolina. The tour will cover approximately 1.5 miles, so bring your walking shoes! Stops will include the Thomas Cooper Library, designed by Edward Durrell Stone; Cornell Arms, designed by Lyles, Bissett, Carlisle, and Wolff; and the SC State Archives Building, designed by Thomas Harmon and William Keenan.
Meeting location is at the corner of Sumter and Pendleton Streets, outside the Edgar A. Brown Building.
