We present a delicious collaboration between Bristol’s The Moth Club and Naarm's home soiled Modern Hypnosis.A beautifully curated record label and side project by Mystic State, The Moth Club is home to deep dub music and dub techno sounds with releases from Pugilist, Akcept, Versa, Bukkha to name a few..., As we feature a lot of the same artists here on Modern Hypnosis, our chakras between MH and TMC are obviously aligned. We simply could not pass up the opportunity to collaborate!
Together we invite Aotearoa’s dub specialist Akcept over the ditch for an intimate show at the newly minted Wax Music Lounge on Flinders Street.
Core member of top shelf Kiwi sound system crew Eyes Down Sound, producer, DJ and radio host, Akcept is an integral part of Aotearoa’s strong creative culture. Releasing on Zam Zam Sounds, Youngster’s Sentry Records, The Moth Club, Modern Hypnosis and most recently on UK’s heavy hitting dubstep label Juan Forte. Akcept is a true craftsman of deep dub styles. LARGE UP AKCEPT!!!!!
Most will know Mystic State for their clinical, deep, rolling drum n bass and dubstep, however for this show, we will all be graced by special guest Mystic State for a rare Moth Club set!!!
