Join us March 8th from 1pm to 5pm to play and learn a variety of games considered to be “modern classic” board games! This event is for everyone! If you have been curious about coming to one of our events but haven’t came yet, this event is one that you won’t want to miss! During the event, we will be giving away a copy of Pandemic: Hot Zone - North America! It’s a shorter version of the modern classic Pandemic! The objective of the game is for you and your group of researchers (other players) to help cure and stop a pandemic from spreading! If you don’t stop the spread fast enough, the world may plunge until a deadly pandemic!
What is a modern classic?
Experienced board gamers usually call these games “gateway games” or entry level enough for anyone to be able to learn and play while also enjoying it! Some examples are Catan, Ticket to Ride, Carcassonne, Pandemic, Wingspan, Azul, and many others!
What if I haven’t played any of these?
No worries! We have plenty of experienced players available to teach you!
How much does it cost?
It’s free and open to people of all ages and experience levels!
Do I need to bring anything?
If you have any games you consider to be a modern classic, please bring it but if not, we have plenty of games available so just bring yourself and be ready to play!
Will there be food or drink?
Geekz Haven does not allow outside food or drink but they have snacks and drinks available to purchase!
