Modeling Possibilities: Exploring Careers in the Law 2026
About this Event
This program is designed to inspire and empower young women--particularly those from underrepresented communities-by providing meaningful exposure to careers in the legal field. It is modeled after the National Association of Women Judges' Color of Justice Program which was reshaped by Washington State Supreme Court Justice Whitener.
We invite high school seniors, graduates, postgraduates to this opportunity for career exploration. Through panels, small-group discussions, and civic education exercises, participants gain insight into the many pathways within the profession and the importance of diverse representation.
Participants will have the opportunity to connect directly with judges, attorneys, and legal professionals who will share their experiences and also hear from law school representatives. This year's program will feature a keynote by Sahar Fathi, who serves the Chief Impact Officer for Governor Ferguson.
A light breakfast and lunch will be provided.
