Model Worker's debut performance in celebration of releasing their debut EP, with support from The Froobz and T-A.

Model Worker is a two piece post-punk outfit hailing from Dunfermline. The band comprises Lewis Akers and Caitlin Petrie, who met in a past life and continued to write music together until deciding enough was enough and began recording under the guise of Model Worker - taken from the 1980 Magazine track of the same name.
Their music is mostly conceptual, offering a tongue-in-cheek take on themes such as culture, society, sex and other modern day issues. Their sound is heavily influenced by 70’s punk acts such as The Stranglers and Talking Heads, and punk-electronic pioneers such as LCD Soundsystem and Nine Inch Nails.

The Froobz are an all female alternative punk band based in Central Scotland.
Incorporating inspiration from the 80s New Wave from bands including ‘Talking Heads’ and ‘Sonic Youth’. With modern twists influenced by bands such as ‘Destroy Boys’ and ‘Slaves’.
They bring out topic of pushing their feminist views through their punchy sounds and strong lyrics, guaranteed to leave a memorable vibe within the female punk scene.

Dark & visceral post-punk drives Dunfermline bred band T-A, their sound has been described as “Black Rebel meets Billy Idol” and as “a tour de force of post-punk”.
After a successful run of shows; playing to sold out crowds in PJ Molloys & Sneaky Pete’s then stretching out west at Broadcast, the band are eager to see what the future holds.
