Model Call April 2027 #7 Final - FashionBar The Shows & Beyond!
About this Event
FashionBar is casting models to walk in FashionBar The Shows – April 2027, showcasing Autumn/Winter 2027 collections.
We welcome cisgender, transgender, and non-binary models who are interested in launching or advancing their modeling careers within Chicago’s fashion industry and beyond.
New and experienced models are encouraged to audition. Participating designers will represent a wide range of fashion categories, from streetwear and ready-to-wear to eveningwear and couture. This casting will also serve as an opportunity for models to be considered for future projects with FashionBar LLC and designers throughout the Chicago fashion industry.
Required Model Submission Form
All models must complete the required model submission form before attending the casting.
The form collects important information, including:
- Height and weight
- Bust or chest measurement
- Waist measurement
- Hip measurement
- Additional sizing and contact information
These measurements may be shared with participating designers to help determine garment fit and casting eligibility.
Professional Comp Card Requirements
All models are required to have a professional comp card with current photographs and accurate body measurements on file. Comp cards allow FashionBar to professionally present models to participating designers for casting consideration.
Models who do not currently have a professional comp card or updated measurements may register for FashionBar’s Comp Card Photoshoot and Runway Walking Session, scheduled for:
Saturday, October 17, 2026
2:00 PM–5:00 PM
Click to register.
Models who successfully complete the walking session and comp card photoshoot will receive consideration for the April or October 2027 FashionBar shows. Participants may also be considered for FashionBar Resident Model status for the six-month period leading into the next seasonal show.
Participation in the session does not guarantee final placement in a specific designer’s runway presentation. Final selections are based on designer requirements, garment sizing, professionalism, availability, and runway readiness.
Runway Walking Requirements
Models who have not previously walked in a professional fashion show may be required to complete FashionBar’s Model Walking Seminar if selected.
FashionBar is committed to ensuring that models are properly prepared before appearing on the runway. The seminar teaches professional runway walking techniques, posture, pacing, posing, presentation, and backstage expectations.
