MoCCA Arts Festival 2023

MoCCA Arts Festival­ is New York City's largest independent comics and cartoon art festival. This multimedia event draws over 5,000 attendees and 400 exhibiting artists that exemplify the limitless aesthetic and social power of comics and cartooning.

During MoCCA Arts Festival, exhibitors display and sell their work and award-winning artists conduct lectures and panel discussions at the SVA Flatiron Gallery, mere steps away. Seminars are given over two days featuring creators who have made an impact on the field. 2023 Featured Guests include: Maia Kobabe, Noah Van Sciver, Barbara Brandon-Croft, Drew Friedman, Jerry Craft, Miriam Katin, Colleen Doran, Toma Vagner, and more to come.

Exhibitors are eligible to enter the MoCCA Arts Festival Awards of Excellence, an award given out to recognize the most outstanding works on view at the Festival. Artists winning this award will be acknowledged on our website and receive a tablet donated by Wacom Technologies.
