About this Event
Mobility and flexibility are important factors to consider in your workout routine. Mobility is the ability of a joint to move freely through a given range of motion without restriction from surrounding tissues. Flexibility is defined as the ability of soft tissues (which include muscles, tendons and ligaments) to lengthen correctly, which allows a joint to move through its optimal range of motion. If you are limited in these types of movement, your body will be forced to compensate elsewhere, increasing the risk of injury.
These sessions will help you improve imbalances and limitations, slowly but surely opening up your body.
This 60mins class can be challenging for some as it is very intense! We're gonna target the entire body with a particular focus on hips and lower body.
Another super important factor is hydration, when you are dehydrated your muscles do not extend and contract in the way they are supposed to when fully hydrated. Also, our joints are lubricated by a water based fluid that allows them to function properly. When you don't drink enough water joint stiffness is the result! Who wants that? Come well hydrated and ready to open up your body! I promise you will leave class feeling better.
