Mobile Writers Guild Anthology Signing

Get to know the Mobile Writers Guild as they sign the seventh installment of the Pieces anthology series, Musical Pieces, A Collection of Short Stories and Poems on February 9, 2025, 2-4pm, at The Haunted Book Shop in downtown Mobile. The Pieces series captures Mobile's rich literary talent in the anthology series, with Musical Pieces featuring twenty-four area writers. 

In this installment of the Mobile Writers Guild Pieces anthology series, our members pay tribute to some of their favorite song titles. Music often helps influence writers with the imagery it creates in their minds. Getting lost in a song can help a writer get back into rhythm when inspiration is temporarily blocked. Song titles can often be as provocative as the songs themselves. Our writers have chosen songs simply for their titles—not the music and lyrics that go with them—to inspire their work in this book.

This is a can't miss event and read for all story and poetry lovers. Contributors to the anthology (all members of the Mobile Writers Guild) will be on hand to sign copies of the anthology and chat with you about creative writing and what the guild offers area creatives.
