Mobile Literary Festival 2025: Go All In!

Join the Gulf Coast’s top literary talent for a free one-day writing conference. Enjoy industry panel discussions workshops The Haunted Book Shop Pop-up Shop the Writing Away Refuge Pitch War poetry readings and more at the 2025 Mobile Literary Festival April 5 2025 9 am - 4:30 pm at the Ben May Main Library at 701 Government Street in Mobile. The Mobile Public Library Mobile Writers' Guild Writing Away Refuge and The Haunted Book Shop sponsors this free festival. 

From opening remarks to the Brown Bag Poetry Lunch & Listen to the Pitch War we hope writers and authors will go all in on their craft betting on themselves by sharing their expertise and learning from workshops and discussion topics including current marketing trends plotting being a good critique partner crafting a great hook book formatting for self-publishers editing and submitting short works for publication. 

Local authors can sell their books through The Haunted Book Shop and share SWAG with readers on the SWAG table.
