The Mazenod Old Boys Golf Open is back again for 2025. Please note that we are returning to Hartfield Golf Club this year.
The event will be 18-holes shotgun start. Each team will be allocated a hole to start from with tee-off at 12.30pm. Holes 1 to 12 will be used with two teams on each hole.
Bowl of chips provided by the Old Boys once your game is finished in the clubhouse. Please stay around for the prize ceremony which will start at approximately 5 pm.

Important information
Green Fees are $50 per person for adults and $45 per students. To be paid on the day. Students in Year 9 and under must be accompanied by an adult.
Carts can be booked directly with the golf club and cost $48.
Please read below for event rules:
1.) This is an Ambrose event.
2.) Tee off from blue (back) tees.
3.) Each player must have 3 of their drives used as the group’s best shot.
4.) If the chosen ball is off the fairway/ in a bunker/ off the green, then the next shot must be played off the fairway/ in the bunker/ off the green.
5.) Handicaps: At the end of the game, we choose 6 holes at random and use these to create a ‘handicap’ for each group based on the group’s score over these 6 holes. Each group’s net score is then calculated: Net score = raw score – handicap. There is a nominal prize “The Socks Prize” in recognition of the best raw score of the day. There are also prizes for nearest to the pin, which is holes 4, 6, 12 and 15, and the longest drive on holes 2 and 18.
6.) Please ensure you dress in accordance with Hartfield Golf Club’s dress code. Tucked in collared shirt (polo fine), trousers or dress shorts (no denim) and closed in shoes.
7.) Please be at the course by 12.00 pm for a pre-game briefing. We will head out to the course at 12.15 pm. Siren will signal start. Do not start early. Please be mindful of your speed of play.
