The MoANA Fall 2025 Seminar aims to elevate clinical practice by delivering timely updates and practical training across critical anesthesia topics such as fluid resuscitation, perioperative device management, simulation training, and global education outreach. Set on the Missouri State University campus, this conference will bring together professionals to explore how clinical innovation—including 3D printing, international partnerships, and simulation-based education—can transform anesthesia care delivery both locally and globally.

Hands-on workshops will provide immersive skill-building in fiberoptic intubation, central line placement, ultrasound-guided regional anesthesia, and point-of-care ultrasound (POCUS) techniques.

The weekend's activites will include a Meet and Greet Reception for SRNAs/RRNA. (Students may attend for free. Drink tickets will be available and food will be available. CRNAs and guests may attend for $50.)

Objectives

By the end of this seminar, participants will:

Apply evidence-based strategies for trauma fluid resuscitation.

Describe perioperative management principles for patients with implanted pacemakers.

Understand how 3D printing supports innovation in anesthesia equipment for low- and middle-income countries.

Appreciate the impact of distance education models in advancing global nurse anesthesia training.

Identify risks and mitigation strategies related to intraoperative axillary roll placement.

Enhance central line placement techniques using guided ultrasound and simulation.

Demonstrate fiberoptic intubation, peripheral nerve block scanning, and POCUS exam proficiency through hands-on workshops.
