Mo Chara Oktoberfest 2023

We can't believe it's already our third year of running Oktoberfest, one of the best days/nights in Mo Chara's calendar.

What's happening?

On Sunday October 22nd, we’ll be running a celebration of all things German with a selection of German import beers along with plenty of amazing takes on German style beers by Irish craft breweries along with our own German inspired food menu!

Expect a top notch day of German beer, food, live music & craic! The tone will be set by the legendary Germans for one day 'The Ramblin' String Band' followed by a live set from Mel & Odhran.

There will be prizes for the best dressed guy and girl so make sure to bust out your lederhosens for the day that's in it! Doors will open at 4pm - food will be served at approx 5pm so be in before then!

What is Oktoberfest?

Oktoberfest takes place each year in Munich from September 21st to October 6th and to celebrate the most wonderful time of the year (for beer geeks), Mo Chara is throwing our third ever and the north easts biggest Oktoberfest event to celebrate all things German.

What do I get for my ticket?

Tickets are €15 and include a whopping:

1. General Entry

2. A 500ml Stein of Erdinger Oktoberfest Bier on arrival

3. German-inspired food platter for every table (served @ 5pm) - what can you expect?

- Sauerkraut, rosti, pickled onions, smoked sausages, chilli & herb sausages, smoked pork shoulder, flour brotchen baps & pretzels of course!

LIMITED TICKETS WILL BE HELD AND BE MADE AVAILABLE AT THE DOOR ON THE DAY. FIRST COME, FIRST SERVED. NO TICKET NO ENRTY. GENERAL PUBLIC ALLOWED ENTRY FROM 9PM.
