About this Event
MNSAH President Rolf Anderson and past-President Jane Hession will be your guides for a tour of the Oskam House by Elizabeth (Lisl) Scheu Close. Rolf and Jane joined forces to prepare a National Register of Historic Places nomination for the house, the first property by Lisl Close nominated to the National Register. Learn about the design and construction of the house on a complex site overlooking Indianhead Lake and the important design features of the house. Built in 1964, Rolf and Jane will discuss why the house was eligible for listing in the National Register and the nomination process. Our host for the tour will be Marri Oskam, the home’s original owner who still resides in the house.
