MMW Extras: Butter Sessions + Research Records Label Showcase

Butter Sessions and Research Records partner with Melbourne Music Week to deliver a one-off showcase at the forefront of the local music scene.

Sleep D headlines the showcase and will collaborate with the audio-visual arm of REELIZE to present a mesmerising multi-sensory journey. Expect to be immersed in a pioneering synesthetic environment of dynamic sound light and spatial choreography that is both intimate and expansive. This is a not to be missed multi-sensory spectacle that will showcase the creative depths both Sleep D and REELIZE have developed in isolation.

Rounding out the massive night is Big Yawn Polito YL Hooi and Emelyne all performing live on stage at The Forum.

Since 2010 Butter Sessions has championed local artists with releases and showcases focusing on all corners of the electronic music spectrum.

Headed by Sleep D the label has become a breeding ground for like-minded artists from across Australia and further afield including Ewan Jansen Jennifer Loveless Guy Contact Cale Sexton Roza Terenzi and many more.
