About this Event

Our Community Center is open Fridays for weekly Drop-In Creative Sessions a low-pressure space to hang out, make art, and connect.
Zines & collage
Open access to craft materials
Coffee & tea
Come for 10 minutes or stay all afternoon
During this session, participants will create:

  • Red dress designs using statewide templates
  • MMIP awareness posters
  • T-shirt design concepts rooted in remembrance and advocacy

These artworks will be collected and mailed to the New York State Office of Family and Children Services – Native American Department by May 1st, where they will be included in a larger art installation at the State Capitol on May 5th.

This gathering is part of a broader statewide effort to uplift Indigenous voices, honor those impacted by the MMIP crisis, and bring community into relationship with advocacy and remembrance work.
