MLK Day 2027 Service Project
About this Event
Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. reminded us that everyone has the power to make a difference. MLK Day is more than a day of remembrance. It's a call to turn hope into action, strengthen our connections to one another, and build the kind of community Dr. King envisioned.
Join hundreds of community members for the Twin Cities' MLK Day Service Project on Monday, January 18, 2027, from 10:00–11:30 a.m. at the Minneapolis Convention Center for an inspiring morning of service, connection, and collective impact.
Hosted by HandsOn Twin Cities, this energizing, hands-on experience brings people of all backgrounds together around a shared purpose: making a difference for our neighbors and communities. Volunteers will assemble essential kits for local nonprofit partners and neighbors in need, explore interactive activities, and discover new ways to put their passion into action throughout the year.
Because when we come together in service, we do more than meet needs. We build belonging, strengthen communities, and carry Dr. King's dream forward.
