Join AVAM for a FREE, all-day celebration honoring the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.—one of history's greatest visionaries!Enjoy hands-on art and poetry-making activities, live performances by the Divine Anointing Choir and Keur Khaleyi African Dancers, an interactive reading and workshop of "A City Dream" with author B. Sharise Moore, plus an open mic and poetry slam!
Throughout the day, explore the galleries with a special scavenger hunt, hear stories from volunteer docents, and consider supporting a donation drive for individuals experiencing homelessness in partnership with Healthcare for the Homeless in Baltimore.
