An integral part of the University of Central Missouri’s annual Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Celebration held each year in January is the presentation of the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Community Service Award and the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., High School Community Service Award.These awards are presented jointly by the Greater Warrensburg Area Chamber of Commerce and the UCM Center for Multiculturalism and Inclusivity. The 2025 awards will be presented Wednesday, January 15, 2025 at the Chamber’s MLK Community Service Awards Luncheon at Northside Christian Church.
Want to nominate someone for an award?
If you would like to submit a nomination for the High School Community Service Award or Community Member Service Award, visit our website at https://www.warrensburg.org/event/mlk-luncheon/ and print off the award nomination form attached to the corresponding award letter. Once printed off, you can email your submission to Kelly Davenport at [email protected], submit your form in person, or mail it to the Warrensburg Chamber of Commerce at 100 South Holden Street.
