This Summer Finale ride will be two distinct rides (10-mile and 30-mile) combined into one.
🚲Soul Roll: 10-mile family friendly ride
- Near West Side Partners will guide us as we explore points of interest along the proposed route of the 30th Street Corridor.
- This approximately 10-mile bike ride is a family-friendly, slow to moderate paced ride that is suitable for most riders.
- Riders must be able to balance, steer, break, and follow directions.
- Anyone under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
- The ride will be guided by experienced MKE RED Ride Leaders.
- Traffic control will be provided by the Milwaukee Police Department.
- This is not a closed route, so all traffic laws will be in full effect, but busy intersections will be controlled by MPD.
Food Truck Finale Ride: 30-mile adults only ride
- Immediately following the 10-mile Soul Roll, riders over the age of 18 will continue on to tour Milwaukee's beautiful trails and bike lanes and visit a selection of local food trucks.
- This 30-mile bike ride will be a slow to moderate paced ride with rest stops, where food and beverages will be available for purchase at area Food Trucks.
- The ride will be led by experienced Ride Leaders from MKE REC who will guide and pace the bike ride.
- This is not a closed route and we will no longer have MPD support, so all traffic laws will be in full effect.
- You can cut the ride short at any time, but you are responsible for your return transportation.
Info that applies to both parts of the ride:
- This is a no-drop ride, which means no one will be left behind
- The route will be fairly flat, with no major hills.
- We will start and end at Washington Park.
- Provide your own bike, helmet (required), water bottle, as well as cash/card if you would like to make purchases at any of our rest stops.
- Rides are free, but registration is required (https://bit.ly/45wLJCc).
