The Significance of Mizuhiki

About the Instructor
Sachie Murakami
Despite knowing of Mizuhiki in my years growing up in Japan, I think as a whole, we do not appreciate nor fully understand its meaning. As time goes by, we start to forget why certain things were created for it’s use and purpose. I found out the significance of this meaning recently, and I wish to share it with others. And I hope that Mizuhiki will continue to be passed down for many years to come as one of the traditional cultures that was infused with various meanings and wishes by ancient people.
