The course starts on Sunday 24 May and runs for 4 weeks till Sun 14 June, 2pm-5pm.
Step into our warm, welcoming studio and spend some Sunday afternoons learning the art of jewellery fabrication. You’ll start with the fundamentals - measuring, cutting, shaping, texturing and soldering - before exploring how to combine copper, brass and bronze to create striking, one-of-a-kind pieces.
Beginners will build confidence by creating a simple ring in copper or brass, learning essential techniques along the way. From there, you’ll be guided into mixing metals—layering, inlaying and experimenting with contrast to add depth, colour and texture to your work, all without the need for gemstones.
For those with more experience, this class offers the chance to refine your fabrication skills, tackle more complex soldering, and develop more ambitious designs with plenty of guidance and support.
By the end of the course, you’ll not only have a piece of beautiful, handmade jewellery, but also the skills and confidence to keep creating.
Copper and brass is provided, silver is available to purchase.
Kids over 12 or so are welcome in this class, but under 16 must be accompanied by an enrolled parent or caregiver.
Course fee - Special Price $230!
