Back by popular demand, Art Guild member and talented artist, Twyla Marti will guide participants on a delightful journey creating altered tins. This mixed media class is perfect for beginners as well as experienced artists wanting to expand their creative abilities.
In Twyla’s class, rather than recycling Altoid or similar small metal containers, you will be converting these sweet tins into small vignettes to showcase your precious odds and ends.
The altered tin class will take place on Friday, November 8, 2024 from 1:00 pm – 4:00 pm in the Plateau Creative Arts Center. The cost of the class is $35 for Art Guild members and $40 for guests.
The class fee includes an “Altoid sized tin,” tiny eyelets and chain for hanging; plus, a supply of paints and adhesives. Students must bring their own precious odds and ends. You may ask for the supply list when you enroll. Pre-registration is required.
