On behalf of the Evergreen Community Pickleball Club, I am excited to welcome everyone to the first pickleball mixed doubles tournament. I just want to remind everyone that the tournament is this coming Saturday at the Evergreen courts at 11:00 am. We did not reserve the courts so please follow the rotation rules if there are paddles waiting. Come early and practice at your leisure. We will start promptly at 11:00 am. Enable for this tournament to go smoothly, we need everyone to be ready to go at 11:00 am. The weather is expected to be in the low 80's. Bring plenty of water so you can stay hydrated.
The tournament will be a round robin format with a total of 8 teams. Every team will play each other for a total of 7 games. The top 3 teams with the most wins will receive medals (gold, silver, bronze). If there is a tie with the wins, the points will be used to break the tie. If the points are the same, the two teams will play another game to break the tie. Anh Ly will be using an App to record the scores.
Please keep in mind that this event is intended for folks to have competitive games, have fun, and socialize with folks who have common interest. Let's keep it friendly, be a good sport, and have lots of fun.
