MixBurgh Masters: Tiki Modern with Adam Henry at Hidden Harbor
About this Event
MixBurgh Masters: "Tiki Modern" with Adam Henry at Hidden Harbor
MixBurgh Masters is a cocktail education series for the people who take the craft seriously. For our second session, Hidden Harbor co-owner and cocktail director Adam Henry hosts the trade at his modern tiki bar in Squirrel Hill for an evening of tasty tropical escapism.
You will learn thought processes and techniques for blending rums and building tropical cocktails, both classic and modern, and presenting them with all the maximalism and theatricality for which tiki drinks are known and loved. And as we believe strongly in learning by doing, you'll be tasting selections of both rums and drinks.
We made this second Masters class for working bartenders and hospitality professionals, and we set it on a Monday so the people who run Pittsburgh's bars every weekend can be there. Hidden Harbor is the right room for it: a nationally-recognized tiki bar, known for its deep 715-bottle rum list and colorful, expressive modern tropical cocktails.
MixBurgh Masters leads into MixBurgh 2026, Pittsburgh's first Cocktail Weekend and Conference this November (Cocktail Weekend November 6 to 7, Conference November 8 to 10). Proceeds support the MixBurgh Foundation, the Pittsburgh 501(c)(3) building this city's craft cocktail community. Every ticket strengthens the local scene heading into the fall.
Seats are limited by the space and format.
This is a 21+ event, and valid government-issued ID may be required. We cannot and will not serve visibly intoxicated guests.
