Step into a welcoming evening designed just for teachers. On Monday, February 23, 2026, from 5:30–7:00 PM at the Dr. Marcelo Cavazos Center for Visual and Performing Arts, Arlington ISD invites you to connect, converse, and celebrate the heart of education as we look forward to hiring a new consortium of teachers.

The night begins at 5:30 PM with a massive charcuterie board, mocktails, and meaningful conversations with current teachers, principals, and administrators—your chance to learn about our supportive culture, campus communities, and career opportunities in the district with the highest teacher pay in the DFW metroplex. At 6:15 PM, the energy shifts with vibrant student performances by the drum line, STEP team, and dueling trumpets, followed by an inspiring message from Steven Poole, the executive director of UEA, and a recruiting preview by Scott Kahl, chief human resources officer at Arlington ISD.
