Launching October Fest 2024 The Mitchison Ensemble return with a programme featuring 'one of the miracles of nineteenth-century music', Mendelssohn's String Octet in E-flat major.

The programme will also include pieces by Paula Muldoon: Ciaccona Opus 8 number 1, and Waiting Opus 8 number 2
