MISTRANSLATED | Barcelona Fringe Comedy Show
About this Event
Have you ever tried to tell a colleague you liked her shirt but said you liked her tiger? Or tried to show off your grade school Spanish - with HILARIOUS consequences?
You're not alone.
The Show
“MISTRANSLATED” is a stand-up comedy show about the absurd and hilarious side of speaking (and mis-speaking) languages. Audiences will learn new words, get tips on language learning hacks and be reminded of the perils of relying on Google Translate.
Got your own mistake stories from that one time in Italy you accidentally said "ano" instead of "anno"? Audience members will be invited to share their own experiences to remind us all of the hilarious pitfalls that befall every language learner.
And if you're shy ? Don't worry! Your polyglot host has PLENTY of her own mistakes to share.
