The Missouri Valley African Violet Council's Fall Convention, Show, and Sale returns to Lincoln, Nebraska, this October 10th through the 11th at Eastmont Living's beautiful Performing Arts Center.
The Show and Sale will be free and open to the public from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. on Saturday, October 11th.
This year's show theme is "Ruby Red Slippers/Yellow Brick Road/Our 40 Years Together" and celebrates the African violet, America's favorite houseplant, and its gesneriad relatives in a beautiful, AVSA-judged show.
Mary Corondan, AVSA's Immediate Past President from Texas, will provide a special presentation Saturday afternoon about "Those Marvelous Minis". Learn how to grow the "small ones" well! Mary's presentation begins at 2 p.m. on Saturday and is free and open to the public.
MVAVC members will enter their plants on Friday morning, October 10th, and judging of the show will occur that afternoon. Entries, classification, placement, and judging of the show are not public events.
