YOU’RE INVITED: Missouri Maternal Health Action Network’s Second Annual Summit ‘It Starts with Us: Innovative Approaches to Improve Maternal Behavioral Health’ – September 27, from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at Hampton Inn & Suites at the University in Columbia, MissouriOn behalf of the Missouri Maternal Health Action Network, we invite you to attend the Second Annual Action Network Summit. The Summit will begin promptly at 9 a.m. Join us for a day filled with engaging panels, enlightening discussions, and exclusive networking opportunities. Register now to secure your spot and be part of this inspiring event! This year’s theme is: ‘It Starts with Us: Innovative Approaches to Improve Maternal Behavioral Health.’
The Summit aims to highlight the voices of those with lived experiences, facilitate insightful discussion, share groundbreaking ideas, create networking opportunities, and foster cross-system collaboration to drive systems change and improve behavioral health outcomes for mothers, children, and families affected by perinatal substance use. The dress code for the event is comfortable and casual (shirts, jeans, t-shirts, etc.). Lunch will be provided to Summit attendees.
Facilities constraints require us to cap participation to the first 145 registrants. Due to the fantastic turnout at last year’s event, we would advise registering as early as possible. To secure your spot in this event, please complete the following event registration form by Monday, September 16, 2024. Organizations can reserve a resource or exhibit table by completing the event registration form.
Scholarship opportunities are available for mothers with lived experience who are interested in attending the Summit. Due to limited availability, applications will be reviewed on a first-come, first-served basis. Mothers who are selected to receive the scholarship will be required to attend the Summit to receive the $250.00 stipend. Awarded scholarships include an arranged overnight stay at the Summit venue and $250.00 stipend to cover travel expenses. Mothers interested in attending should complete the Summit registration form and brief scholarship application using the event registration form.
