The Zootown Arts Community Center (ZACC) is working to restore and protect the historic Studebaker Building—and we need your help to get there!
We’re aiming to raise $44,000 to meet our required grant match and unlock funding for a $220,000 historic preservation project, and every gift brings us closer.
ZACC is Missoula’s nonprofit community art center, and we believe everyone deserves access to creative experiences. Since purchasing the Studebaker Building in 2018, we’ve transformed it into a vibrant hub for art, music, and connection—but now, the building needs critical repairs to remain safe and sustainable for years to come.
Years of moisture, aging materials, and Montana’s freeze-thaw cycles have caused serious deterioration to the exterior façade. Without action, this damage will continue to worsen—threatening not only the building itself, but the community space it holds.
This project will restore and stabilize the building by repairing soft brick, reinforcing the parapet, fixing gutters, and preserving the historic character of this iconic downtown landmark.
