MISSOULA CHILDREN’S THEATER The ever-popular Missoula Children's Theatre (MCT) is returning to Baker City for two productions this summer! The tour team will arrive with a set, lights, costumes, props and make-up, everything it takes to put on a play! Local youth in grades 1-12 are eligible to audition and participate as cast members in a fun and rewarding week-long theater arts experience. Registration is open for up to 60 participants. MCT's mission is the development of life skills in children, including creativity, communication and self esteem through participation in the performing arts. You’ll also make lasting memories and have fun!
THE LITTLE MERMAID
Plot Description: Deep in the salty waters of the Sassafras Sea, there lived a Little Mermaid. Her name was Celia. She lived for music and had the loveliest scales in all of the Deep. Celia and her three sisters were allowed one visit to the World Above to learn the secrets of life on dry land. Their discoveries included ferocious dragons, advancing armies and, of course, a handsome and resourceful Prince Charming. In a new version of the age-old tale, lots of music, plot surprises and humor await the audience.
Audition: August 15th 10am – 12pm
Rehearsals: August 15th 12:30 – 2:30, August 16th/August 17th/August 18th 10-2:30, August 19th TBD
Performances: August 19th at 6:00pm and August 20th at 3:00pm
Ages: Grades 1-12
Supplies: Students need to bring: daily snack, water, positive attitude

Cost: $40.00 members, $60 nonmembers – Scholarships Available
