An evening of songs and stories with Cary Hudson, Shelby Kemp, Drew Young and Will Coppage.
This two-hour, seated listening experience blends original songs with engaging, often humorous stories of life, love, and growing up in Mississippi. Inspired by the legendary Bluebird Café in Nashville, the intimate “in-the-round” format places the artists center stage— sharing songs, trading stories, and creating a powerful connection with the audience.
THE ARTISTS -
CARY HUDSON
Cary Hudson is a celebrated Mississippi songwriter and founding member of the pioneering roots-rock band Blue Mountain, one of the most influential Southern bands of the 1990s. Known for his soulful voice, deeply literate songwriting, and genre-blending sound, Hudson’s work bridges Southern rock, folk, and Americana. His songs are rich with place, memory, and emotional honesty—making him one of Mississippi’s most respected musical storytellers.
