It’s summertime! Welcome to our Mississippi Ski Riders “Season Opening Ride”. All jet-skis are welcome and encouraged to join this group ride on the Mississippi Coast!LAUNCH:
On Saturday, April 27th, 2024 we will launch in Pascagoula, MS at Lighthouse Park (3776 Frederic St). The group will depart together at 10:00am. Please be launched and ready to go before the departure time.
RIDE SUMMARY:
From Lighthouse Park we will cruise north through the East Pascagoula River, then make a northwestern turn until we reach the West Pascagoula River. From there we’ll ride south until we complete the full loop. We’ll then stop at a Pascagoula sandbar that we passed at the beginning of the route.
At the sandbar we’ll have social time for pictures, drinks, talking with friends, and meeting new people. After 30-90 minutes at the sandbar, it’s time for lunch. Huck’s Cove and Brady’s Seafood are both nearby but in opposite directions. At this point the organized event is complete and individuals can decide what is best from themselves. Brady’s is next to the launch at Lighthouse Park, and Huck’s is in Gautier backwards on our previous route a few minutes before we reached the sandbar.
The completed route is approximately 64 miles in total. This is easily in range of most jet-ski fuel tanks, so bringing additional fuel is up to you. Some smaller skis such as a Yamaha EX or Sea-Doo Spark might require additional fuel.

Our group rides/events are created for a fun and safe gathering of jet-ski enthusiasts. Group rides are NOT a race, as we’ll try to safely stick together. Please look out for each other and be courteous to anyone else on the water. We have rarely had any issues during a group ride or event, but remember you are attending at your own risk. Mississippi Ski Riders is a Facebook group and it, nor the individual group leaders, are liable for you, your passenger(s), and/or your equipment.
