JOIN US FOR A BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION IN 2025! The 2025 Mississippi Blues Marathon will showcase two individuals that changed the history and culture of the Great State of Mississippi on so many levels! The Mississippi Blues Marathon is proud to be a part of the Centennial Birthday Celebrations of both Mr. BB King and Mr. Medgar Evers at the 2025 Marathon Event Weekend!
To kick things off! The 2025 Finisher Medal will showcase Mr. BB King and his famous Guitar "Lucille"! And our newest event to the weekend will be the BB Kids Mini Marathon, which will start at 10:00am and finish at the MS Blues Marathon Finish Line. This annual event will continue to highlight and showcase Mr. BB King for years to come under our new five year contract with the BB King Museum.
Our 18th Edition of the Mississippi Blues Marathon will also celebrate another giant in the State, Mr. Medgar Evers. Our final mile of each race through his hometown of Jackson, Mississippi will be branded as Medgar's Mile! Within that last mile, additional bands and cheers zone's celebrating his love of community and his family will be on display, on your final stretch to the finish line.
Help us celebrate in southern style, the Centennial Birthday's of Mr. BB King and Mr. Medgar Evers from the State that gave us two son's unlike any others, at the 2025 Mississippi Blues Marathon!!!
Entry Fee Prices Increase on Sunday September 1, 2024 for our 2025 event. Don't pay more for a Musical Tour through the Capitol City of Jackson, Mississippi!
