Mississinewa 1812 is America's largest War of 1812 living history event.
Hosted by the Mississinewa Battlefield Society, Inc. 501 (c)(3), Mississinewa 1812 is a historical commemoration of the Battle of Mississinewa fought in Grant County on December 17-18, 1812.
Step back in time to 1812 with over 2,000 reenactors! Over 200 merchants, food purveyors, and performers! Historical demonstrations, traditional craftsmen, historical foods, story telling, music, battle reenactments, and more!

Please note that while our event is at a new location, it will still be hosted in Grant County - nestled along the Mississinewa River between Marion and Gas City, IN. While we canβt wait to show you our new home, please remember that our new space is private property and trespassing is strictly prohibited.
Visitors at the gate wearing costumes of historical time periods, fantasy, and cosplay will not be permitted entry into the event, in an effort to not confuse other visitors of the historical personas hosted by the event within the event space.
