Mississauga Chapter Family and Friends,Don't miss our October meeting at the Clarkson Pump and Patio featuring feature Neil Polley of Polley Baits! Neil has taken over the famous Toddy Tickle Hellebarde line of hard baits as you will see represented on our stacked prize table!
A lot of changes in the chapter with open elections now rolling along. The prize table as always will have a great selection of baits that will not disappoint. A few Hellebarde’s will make it on the table for your big prize!
We are running our food drive again this year and we are collecting non-perishable food items until the December meeting. Please bring out food items and we will have a special draw in December with anyone who has donated. The more you donate the more chance you have to win.
Now about our speaker Neil Polley:
He has been fishing since he was 6 caught his first musky when he was 15 and has been hooked since. Neil started making baits when he was in the 8th grade. Neil took over the Hellebardes bait manufacturing in April of 2024, when Todd Dowell decided to sell the hard baits section of his company. Neil’s team consists of 2 pro staffers Matt O’Brien and Mike Howser and his social media manager Sean Ryan the guy that taught Neil how to musky fish. The Hellebardes come in a variety of sizes and types – Neil makes a 6”,8”,10”,12” sizes (Straight and Jointed) of Hellebardes right now and he’s testing out a 16” size in the fall. Neil also has 3 more models of bait; the Conjuror, the Beast Master and the Tickle Stick.
Neil will focus his talk on how to fish his baits and what types of models or patterns to use in different bodies of water. This will give you the upper hand in selecting your next Hellebarde that catches the next Muskie in your boat. Neil, is also a committed member of Muskies Canada Inc. he is the Chairman of the Kitcher-Waterloo Chapter.
Neil will have a selection of baits available for purchase at the meeting – come learn more about his baits and how to fish them.
Please come out and give a welcome to Neil to the Mississauga Chapter the meeting will start at 7:30pm but you are welcome to come early for food, drinks and conversation with the Chapter members.
