Improve the common area located behind the 5 residential buildings which serves as a recreational area for 10 missionary families.About this Event
***FAMILY FRIENDLY***
Volunteer numbers for this project are based on adults and children ages 11 and older. Younger children are encouraged to attend with their parents but registration is NOT needed for any child 10 and under.
What sort of work will I be doing?
LANDSCAPING: The area needs a few landscaping improvements including mulching landscaping beds around the residences and adding triple shredded mulch to the playground area.
***The Missionary Furlough Foundation provides temporary low cost housing to missionary families that are on furlough.
VOLUNTEERS SHOULD BRING (If you are able):
- WATER to drink
- Gardening Gloves
- Safety Goggles
- Wheelbarrows (10 needed)
- Rakes (18 needed)
- Shovels (8 needed)
- Trowels
- Shears
- Loppers
- Stiff Broom
OPTIONAL:
