Volunteer numbers for this project are based on adults and children ages 11 and older. Younger children are encouraged to attend with their parents but registration is NOT needed for any child 10 and under.

What sort of work will I be doing?

LANDSCAPING:

- Rake and remove leaves in bed adjacent to north driveway
- Add triple shredded playground mulch in playground areas.
- Mulch bed adjacent to north driveway, adjacent to fireplace patio and flower beds, and around residences with garden mulch.
- Remove debris around garages and tool shed.

PAINTING:

- Mask and paint free throw lines and four-square box on the basketball court with Zone Marking Paint (white & blue). *Chalk lines will be marked by others prior to Carefest to guide placement of masking tape for the painting job.

- Scrape and paint the entire garage with white exterior paint (paint will be a combination paint & primer so separate primer is not required). *The garage will be power washed prior to Carefest by others.

SKILLED Trimmer:

- Experienced trimmer needed for trimming with pole saw and hedge trimmers.

- Trim bushes around entire property. Trim tree adjacent to west garage with pole saw. A skilled trimmer will be needed.

SKILLED Pavement Patching:

- Repair driveway apron by installing blacktop cold patch asphalt material at base of driveway apron at 116 Kellogg.

***The Missionary Furlough Foundation provides temporary low cost housing to missionary families that are on furlough.

• Wheelbarrows (16 needed)
• Rakes (10 needed)
• Steel Rakes (2 for asphalt patch)
• Shovels / Pitchforks (12 needed for mulch & 2 needed for asphalt patch)
• Trowels

• Loppers
• Stiff Broom
• Safety Glasses
• Hedge Trimmer (1)

• Bug Spray
