This delightful holiday program celebrates the ancient tradition of the zampognari, the shepherd bagpipers of Southern Italy, who played the music believed to have sounded at the very moment of Christ’s birth. Featuring music
by Durante, Caresana & Tartini alongside the traditional holiday music from Southern Italy which inspired them.
Featuring the Vesuvius Ensemble:
