Miss Moon

Miss Moon is a D.C.-based band formed by Miranda Judd and Brenden Caffey in 2017 where the two came together at the University of Maryland, inspired by their love of performing, to create the beginnings of Miss Moon. The band currently has a new, fun sound propelled by James Baldassano on the crazy keys, Lex Lehr on bass, and Patrick Aquilina on drums! Together they are inspired by their love of making interesting, yet danceable music. They are inspired by 90s rock, folk, contemporary pop, and jazz and love to synthesize interesting genre meshes.

Empris & the Gems

Empris & The Gems is a Baltimore-based band with a unique take on the indie rock genre, calling themselves “melodrama indie rock.” Drawing inspiration from artists like The Killers, Young the Giant, Phoenix, and Wolf Alice, they enchant audiences with their original music that blends driving rhythms, ambient textures, catchy melodies, and introspective lyrics that resonate with listeners. This band line up got together and formed in spring of 2024, performing at venues such as Stages Music Arts, Jammin Java, and Metro Gallery. As they work on new material, anticipation grows for their upcoming release of their debut EP, promising even more captivating music that pushes the boundaries of their genre.

Neon Habits

Neon Habits is an energetic pop-rock band based in Washington, DC. They write fun, upbeat music that blends an eclectic mix of funk and r&b which people can dance to. They incorporate a variety of genres and explore different creative backgrounds to celebrate life and diverse interests, touching on themes such as love, introspection, and unapologetically expressing yourself. Comprised of five nerdy musicians, they encountered each other on their individual journeys and united on a quest to slay and serve up amazing music! Their first single, “More Than Friends,” debuted on Feb. 9th, 2024.
