Miss Crestview 2024

At the Miss Crestview Pageant, we are dedicated to nurturing the spirit of community and celebrating the beauty, talents, and aspirations of our participants. Our mission is to provide young ladies with a platform they are proud of, fostering leadership and personal growth. By promoting inclusivity, empowerment, and a love for our pageant system, we aim to inspire confidence and create role models who positively impact our community. Through meaningful engagement and a focus on purpose-driven leadership, we strive to cultivate a legacy of integrity, passion, and service that resonates throughout Crestview and beyond.

This agreement ("Contract") is entered into between Emerald Coast Pageants and Events, directed by Tanya Rivera ("Director"), and participants ("Participants") in the Miss Crestview Pageant. By signing this Contract, Participants agree to the terms and conditions outlined below:

Participants must meet the following age requirements as of January 1, 2025:

• Baby Miss: 0-23 Months
• Toddler Miss: 2-3 Years (Ages 0-3 are not eligible to advance to compete at Miss North Florida)
• Tiny Miss: Ages 4-6
• Future Little Miss: Ages 7-9
• Little Miss: Ages 10-12
• Junior Miss: Ages 13-15
• Teen Miss: Ages 16-18
• Miss: Ages 19-23

There are no residency restrictions for participation in Miss Crestview, but participants seeking to advance to Miss North Florida must comply with Miss North Florida's residency requirements.

The entry fee for Miss Crestview is $125, covering the Beauty portion, which determines the winner. The Beauty portion of the pageant is mandatory.

• Interview: $25
• Fun Fashion: $25

These categories are not mandatory but offer additional scoring opportunities and division awards. Participants may compete for Optional Awards, including Best Hair, Eyes, Attire, Personality, and Photogenic. Photos for the Photogenic Award must be uploaded on the Cognito Registration Form.

Participants must adhere to the rules and requirements set forth by Emerald Coast Pageants and Events, including attire guidelines for each competition category (Interview, Fun Fashion, Beauty). Participants must demonstrate appropriate behavior during the pageant and in public appearances representing Miss Crestview. Emerald Coast Pageants and Events retains all rights to images, videos, and other intellectual property created during the pageant. These materials may be used for promotional purposes and media appearances related to the pageant system.

Each division winner (Tiny Miss through Miss) will receive a Crown and Embroidered Sash. Winners in these divisions are eligible to advance to compete at the Miss North Florida Scholarship Pageant, subject to residency restrictions.

Contest Details: Contestant pictures will be uploaded from their registration to the Miss Crestview website. Members of the public will have the opportunity to vote for their favorite contestant by donating $1.00 per vote.

Award: The contestant in each division with the highest number of votes will be awarded a Crown and Sash on stage during the Miss Crestview Pageant.

Overall Winner Prize: The contestant with the highest overall number of votes across all divisions will receive a Prize Package for the Miss North Florida Pageant.

This Viewer's Choice Contest is a fun way for participants to engage their communities and potentially earn recognition and prizes based on public support.

Judges will evaluate contestants based on:

• Interview: Attire, personality, response
• Fun Fashion: Attire, personality, walk
• Beauty: Attire, personality, walk

Each category is scored 0-10 per judge, with a maximum total score of 30 per category per judge. All judges' decisions are final. Participants may be featured in promotional materials, media appearances, and interviews related to Miss Crestview. By participating, contestants grant permission for their likeness and interviews to be used for promotional purposes.

Division winners (Tiny Miss, Little Miss, Future Little Miss, Little Miss, Junior Miss, Teen Miss, Miss) are required to attend specified community events, including:

• Crestview's Homecoming Parade
• Crestview Christmas Parade
• Triple B Barbecue
• Fall Festival
• Fundraiser events hosted by Emerald Coast Pageants and Events

Crowned and Title winners must attend a contract signing at 5 pm on September 15th, following the pageant cleanup. Participants must wear a Red, Black, or White outfit suitable for an interview or dress.

Signing this Contract signifies Participants' agreement to abide by its terms and conditions. Breach of contract may result in consequences up to the relinquishment of title and crown.

Participants who receive the titles of Miss Crestview and Miss Hub City (First Alternate) are required to sign a contract outlining their responsibilities and privileges. The contract will cover the following details:

Guidelines on how their images, videos, and interviews may be used for promotional purposes by Miss Crestview Pageant and affiliated partners.

Ensures participants are encouraged to engage with other pageant systems and community events without restriction.

Queens and First Alternates are required to attend the following events:

• 2025 Miss Crestview Pageant
• 2025 Mommy and Me Brunch
• 2024 Crestview Homecoming Parade and Christmas Parade
• 2024 Fall Festival
• 2025 Triple B Bar B Q
• Two fundraisers
• Pageant Growth Bootcamp

Participants must notify the Director at least two weeks in advance if unable to attend any mandatory event. This contract aims to clarify expectations, support community involvement, and promote personal growth and leadership among titleholders of Miss Crestview and Miss Hub City.
