About this Event
Overview
Learn the traditional decorative technique of Mishima, where contrasting colors are inlaid into depressions of slightly hardened clay. We will use carving tools and plants to make impressions in small clay dishes. The impressions get filled with a different colored clay and the excess is scraped away. The final design stands out in contrast to the surrounding clay. Suitable for all levels
*Students can purchase one class at a time, or purchase all three in the series at once for a 20% discount! The theme for the next three upcoming workshops is "Nature": June, July and August.

* Students will need to come back 2 weeks after the class to pick up their fired pieces. We will arrange when that happens individually.
