Montréal singer-songwriter and producer Mischa Gods writes powerful songs that portray raw emotionality in a kind of joyful, ethereal catharsis. Utilizing an electronically processed dobro guitar, she evokes frontier landscapes tinged with folk futurism, while her voice, haunting and vulnerable, delivers dream-logic inspired poetry. Her live band features John Sweenie (tenor saxophone/electronics), and John Buck (drums).

Kim Albert grew up in a household full of the traditional fiddle tunes of her self-taught dad and has been performing music since a childhood. Her pared-down folk songs are steeped in love and loss. She crafts music as mindful meditation, in a daily practice of acceptance, self-exploration and forgiveness. The result is a personal, revealing interpretation of the fallibility and wonders of what makes us human.
